ARE THE DIGITAL ECONOMY AND THE GREEN ECONOMY COMPATIBLE?

OUR CEO JESÚS PÉREZ REFLECTS HIS VISION ON THIS ISSUE IN AN INTERVIEW CONDUCTED BY OUR PARTNER iGrafx, CONCLUDING THAT THE DIGITAL ECONOMY AND THE GREEN ECONOMY ARE INDIVISIBLE.

  • Could you tell us a little about SCWUIMAC!’s work?

SCWUIMAC! is located between two worlds, the digital world made by humans and the earthly world inhabited by humans. We are constantly creating New Technologies, Processes and New Business Models to deliver to our clients Value Propositions based on Projects adapted to their complexity. Currently, we are focused on preparing the companies that rely on our model, based on “Project Management” towards the new factories 4.0 and 5.0, which are always linked to the life cycle (each company has its own methods). We are experts in adapting the Project to the company (not the other way around).

  • What do you think about the relationship between the Digital Economy and the Sustainable Economy?

In reality, both terms are indivisible. The Sustainable Economy has a similar base consumption savings, in terms of energy, logistics costs and costs derived directly from transport elements. Most of these costs (not only in cash, but also in emissions and loss of quality of life) can be exchanged for digital costs, making them more efficient and less harmful to the environment. The good news is that there are great opportunities to implement the necessary changes (European Recovery Funds – Next Generation), the bad news is that we may have arrived too late.

  • How important is Project Management for the success of Digitization Projects?

It is the only way we see to implement it. SCWUIMAC! was founded 8 years ago with the objective of showing that there was another way to improve the core business of companies. By using Project Management in the right way, and aligning the client’s Project Management approach, SCWUIMAC! is able to Reduce the Risks that appear in a Digital Implementation and more specifically Reduce the Dangers using the “Project Management” model.
